The Child Death Helpline accepts calls in any language and provides a telephone interpreting service. This is achieved by the Language Line Services which provide experienced interpreters who offer their services in a wide range of languages on a strictly confidential basis. We work to ensure that people are not disadvantaged because of language or communication difficulties.
In order to ensure Language Line is accessed quickly it is helpful for the caller to be able to tell us what language they would prefer to use and to give us a telephone number to which we can link in this interpreting service.
